Directions

We are less than 10 minutes from the city centre, at Wixenford Depot. Wixenford is signposted on Merafield Road, Plympton or Haye Road, Plymstock. The Wixenford junction is opposite Drake Cemetery, at Stag Lodge (Saltram House). Please follow the directions below, do not use Colesdown Hill - it is a dead end, with only pedestrian or cycle access to my yard.

My yard is at Wixenford Farm, which used to be part of the National Trust 'Saltram House' estate. It has been converted to a small industrial estate, Wixenford Depot.

From the A38/Plympton: (5 minutes from Plympton Superbowl).

Form Marsh Mills roundabout (Plymouth), Devon.
Take the 'Plympton' exit onto Plymouth Road B3416. Staying in the right hand lane, continuing on Plymouth Road. Turn right, following the 'Saltram House' sign. You are now on Cot Hill (speed camera). At the top of the hill, turn right onto Merafield Road. Continue on Merafield Road, over the flyover and past 'Gables Farm' cat & dogs Home.  'Wixenford' is signposted. Follow this sign, turning right (opposite Drakes cemetery) across the main road and into the lane that joins 'Stag Lodge' layby. Drive to the end of the lane, past 'Ace Fire Alarms' and 'Plymouth Pilots'. My yard is on the left, before the yellow barrier of 'ATC Scaffolding'.

From A379 The Embankment/Plymstock: (8 mins from the Embankment).

Take the A379 'Plymstock' road across the Embankment Bridge and onto Billacombe Road. At the first (Morrisons) roundabout, go straight ahead. At the next (Fairway Furniture) roundabout, go straight ahead. (Do not turn into Colesdown Hill). At the next roundabout take the first left exit, into Haye Rd. Stay on Haye Rd until you see a 'speed camera' sign. Ahead of you (opposite Drake cemetery), is the sharp left turn into the lane that joins the 'Stag Lodge' layby. (This is the 'Wixenford' turning, but the only signpost is badly placed, after the turning!) Drive to the end of the lane, passing 'Ace Fire Alarms' and 'Plymouth Pilots'. My yard is on the left, before the yellow barrier of 'ATC Scaffolding'.

From South Hams A379: (a few minutes from the Elburton roundabout).

If you are travelling from the South Hams direction (A379), at the Elburton roundabout, go straight ahead. At the next roundabout, turn right into Haye Road. Stay on Haye Road until you see a 'speed camera' sign.

Please ring, email or text if you need further directions.
